Digital and cashless India is the mission of present India. The importance of this mission is being felt, especially after the demonetization roll out by Govt. Keeping in view the low level literacy and awareness in connection with digital and modern modes of financial transactions in rural and tribal population of the nation, Digital Financial Literacy and Awareness Programmes (DFLAP) are to be conducted in 18,570 places throughout India, out of which 1560 programmes have been allotted to Odisha.
GU’S Interventions:
With years of experience in total financial Inclusion and financial literacy programme in rural area, Gram-Utthan as a pioneer of this national mission in Odisha has been assigned by NABARD and Axis Bank Limited to conduct 100 nos. of digital financial literacy programme in 20 nos. of districts across the state of Odisha.

Introduction to card technology
ATM, micro ATM, PoS
Introduction to mobile banking
Introduction to NUUP, USSD, UPI
Use of mobile wallets
With a view to translate this action Noble Goal into action GU identified 100 nos. of villages and finalize the venue, date & time in consultation with DDM NABARD of 20 Districts and 30 nos. of branch heads of Axis Bank Bank Ltd. The programmes are being implemented successfully and will be completed by the end of April 2017.
