Despite efforts by government, access to safe sanitation in the rural pockets Sanitation remains a disaster. Close to more than half of households are forced to defecate in the open. Whereas the toilet use concerned just over 4% has a toilet with a flush connected to a piped water system which was forced them to defecate in the open.  Hence, FINISH supports Gram-Utthan to improve sanitation facilities of the rural poor.
